What is Tylosin Tartrate?
Tylosin tartrate is a bacteriostat feed additive used in veterinary medicine.
Tylosin tartrate has a broad spectrum of activity against gram positiveorganisms and a limited range of gram negative organisms.
Tylosin tartrate is found naturally as a fermentation product of Streptomyces fradiae.
Tylosin tartrate is used in veterinary medicine to
treat bacterial infections in a wide range of species and has a high margin of safety. Tylosin tartrate has also been used as a growth promotant in some species, and as a treatment for colitis in companion animals.
Dogs, cats : 0.5-2 ml. per 10 kg. bodyweight daily, during 3-5 days..
Application of Tylosin Tartrate
The clinical application of more methods,such as tablets orally,powder drinking water,intramuscular injection, subcutaneous injection,mixed feeding,spray bath and so on.
Tylosin tartrate is clinically used primarily for the treatment and prevention of mycoplasma, Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Streptococcus pneumoniae,Eluomonas,Haemophilus, Neisseria meningitidis,Pasteurella,Spirochetes,Insects and other pathogens caused by a variety of respiratory,intestinal,reproductive tract and motor system infection.
Such as:poultry chronic respiratory disease,chicken infectious rhinitis,avian bursitis,infectious sinusitis, salpingitis,pig asthma,atrophic rhinitis,swine dysentery,gastroenteritis,swine erysipelas,mycoplasma arthritis,livestock stubborn Sexual diarrhea,necrotizing enteritis,endometritis,external genital suppurative infection,goat pleural pneumonia, ewe abortion, beef liver abscess, cattle and sheep rot disease.
Also used for poultry farms for egg injection, dipping and other mycoplasma purification.And the prevention and treatment of livestock and poultry in the outbreak of viral diseases,mycoplasma secondary infection has a good effect,is the world recognized treatment and prevention of mycoplasma infection of the drug of choice, the effect is better than erythromycin, Fungi.
