1. Properties & Applications
Trimethylolpropane diallyl ether (TMPDE) is a kind of excellent resin air-drying agent, it is widely used in theunsaturated polyester resin to improve the resin surface drying speed and hardness so as to make the film to beburnished easily. It contains a hydroxyl and two allyl groups, it can react with the carboxyl group in theesterification process.
It is mainly used in unsaturated polyester resin, the resin of the automobile basic coatings, acrylic resin, alkyd resin, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, water-based resin, etc.
The content of trimethylolpropane diallyl ether (TMPDE) of our company is higher than 90%. High content ofdiallyl ether can make resin surface drying faster, having better hardness and being burnished more easily.
2. Amount of adding
The amount of TMPDE used is between 6-25% of the resin solid content.
