Main uses of tannic acid:
raw materials for the preparation of pharmaceutical astric acid, pyruvic acid and sulfonamides. Gallic acid and pyroGallic acid can be prepared in chemical production. Used as a mud treatment agent in the petroleum industry. In addition, it can be used to produce leather tanning agent, mordant, rubber coagulant, protein agent, alkaloid precipitator, mineral processing inhibitor, alcohol clarifier, germanium extraction and blue-black ink preparation.
