Description:
Glycerol triacetate is colorless transparent oily liquid, miscible with ethanol, ether, chlform and benzene, slightly soluble in water and carbon disulfide.
Application:
1 Triacetin is widely used in cigarettes filter production, as bonding plasticizers;
2 Triacetin is widely used as humectant, emulsifier, plasticizer, leavening agents, etc in gum, baked foods, dairy production;
3 Triacetin is use as core sand binder in metal foundry sector, as solvent in printing inks, as plasticizer for cellulose-based plastics, as solvent in building wall coating;
4 Triacetin is also used as humectant and plasticizer in cosmetics;
5 Triacetin is anti fungal agents and plasticizers in pharmaceutical.
