Clopidol is pyridine compounds, has wide anticoccidial effect. Can be used for poultry, rabbit coccidiosis. Peak of action of clopidol on coccidiosis mainly lies in spore stage, can make the sporozoite development stopped for 60 days in epithelial cells. Recently, Clopidol was found that the second generation of the reproduction, gamete reproduction and spore formation were inhibited. Because of clopidol on coccidia is only inhibited after stopping the sporozoites can re grow.
Clopidol can make the host immunity against coccidia decreased significantly.
