     Product features

      Anhydrous borax properties for white crystalline or colorless vitreous crystal, alpha rhombic crystal melting temperature 742.5 ºC, the density of 2.28; Beta rhombic crystal melting point 664 ºC, the density of 2.75. Hygroscopicity is strong, soluble in water, glycerol, slowly dissolved in methanol, can form a concentration of 13-16% of the solution, the aqueous solution is weak alkaline, insoluble in alcohol. Anhydrous borax is borax heating to 350 ~ 400 ºC when the anhydride. When placed in air, it can be hygroscopically changed into borax decahydrate or borax pentahydrate.

    Range of application

1. As the carrier of lubricant in metal wire drawing, as the stabilizer and skeleton body in refractories.
2. used for high quality glass, glaze, flux, non-ferrous metal and alloy cosolvent.
3. used for cement and concrete retarder, water system PH buffer, paraffin emulsifier.
4. Borax is the basic raw material to make boron compounds, almost all boron compounds can be made by borax.

     Product notes

     Under normal storage conditions borax is a stable crystal and will not undergo chemical changes. However, if it is wetted, it will react with water to release a small amount of heat and produce borax decahydrate. Therefore, it needs to be properly kept and should not be exposed to humidity or high temperature, otherwise it will agglomerate. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure good packing.
